Description

BöttcherPro Calciumfix is a specially formulated decalcifying cleaning paste designed to remove persistent calcium contamination and glazing caused by paper lint on ink rollers. Over time, calcium and lint deposits can reduce ink transfer, cause roller glazing, and impact print quality. Calciumfix restores the original roughness of the roller surface, enhancing ink pick-up and improving overall press performance.

The gel is based on solvents, acids, and specialized auxiliaries, offering excellent cleaning power while remaining water-miscible, free from aromatics and CFCs, and safe for regular use. With a flash point above 100°C, it is stable and easy to handle in pressroom environments.

🔹 Application Instructions

1. After washing the roller with a Böttcher roller wash, apply BöttcherPro Calciumfix directly from the tube onto the ink roller while it is running slowly.

2. Let it react for 3 to 5 minutes.

3. Rinse the roller thoroughly with water and a cleaning agent.

4. Repeat as needed for heavy contamination.

5. Suitable for manual use or in automatic washing systems.

Recommended Frequency: Once per week for optimal performance and to prevent build-up.
